Last Modified: November 3, 2025 (Eastern Time)
1) Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Jubatus Enterprises LLC ("Jubatus", "we", "our") collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information when you visit jubatustech.com or otherwise interact with us online (the "Site"). It also describes privacy rights available to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and individuals in the European Economic Area/United Kingdom (GDPR/UK GDPR).
2) Categories of Information We Collect
Non-Personal Information
Aggregated usage and technical data (e.g., browser, OS, language, pages viewed, clicks, time on page) used to operate and improve the Site.
Personal Information
- Identifiers: name, email, phone, business role, IP address
- Commercial information: service inquiries, proposals
- Professional information: company, title
- Geolocation: approximate, inferred from IP
Sensitive Personal Information (SPI)
We do not deliberately collect SPI via the Site. If SPI is needed for a contracted engagement, we will provide a dedicated notice and limit use/retention to what the law requires.
3) How We Obtain Information
- Directly from you (forms, emails, support requests)
- Automatically via cookies/analytics (see Cookies)
- From trusted service providers (analytics, hosting) consistent with this Policy
4) Purposes of Processing & Lawful Bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)
- Contract — pre-contract interactions, proposals, service delivery
- Legitimate Interests — site security, fraud monitoring, basic analytics (balanced against your rights)
- Consent — certain cookies/marketing; you may withdraw consent anytime
- Legal Obligation — tax/audit, regulatory compliance
5) How We Use Information
We do not sell personal information for money. If we ever "share" data for cross-context behavioral advertising, we will provide the opt-out detailed in Section 8.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site; respond to inquiries; provide proposals/services
- Communicate about updates or requested information
- Comply with contracts and laws; maintain records
6) Disclosure of Information
We may disclose data to service providers (hosting, email, analytics, security) under contracts that restrict use and require protection; for corporate transactions subject to this Policy; and to comply with legal process. No third party may use your data for their own marketing without your consent.
7) International Transfers (GDPR/UK GDPR)
If we transfer EEA/UK personal data outside those regions, we use approved mechanisms (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) and—where required—supplementary measures and transfer impact assessments to ensure essentially equivalent protection post-Schrems II.
8) California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
8.1 Your Rights
California residents have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt-out of sale/sharing, limit the use/disclosure of sensitive personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
8.2 "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"
If Jubatus sells or shares personal information (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising), you may opt out at any time. We honor browser opt-out preference signals (e.g., Global Privacy Control) in a frictionless manner. After you opt out, we will refrain from selling or sharing your personal information unless you subsequently authorize it.
8.3 Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information
If we collect SPI, you may request we limit its use/disclosure to what is necessary to provide requested services.
8.4 Verification, Timelines & Records
We verify requests, respond within required timelines, and maintain opt-out records for at least 12 months before seeking re-consent.
9) Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for site operation and basic analytics. Marketing/advertising cookies (if any) run only with consent (EEA/UK) or are configurable (US). Manage preferences through our cookie banner and your browser settings.
10) GDPR/UK GDPR – Individual Rights
If you are in the EEA/UK, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, as detailed in GDPR Articles 12–23. You may also lodge a complaint with your local Supervisory Authority.
Data Protection Officer (DPO): We do not currently meet triggers mandating a DPO (GDPR Art. 37). If that changes, we will designate a DPO and publish their contact details.
11) Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure.
12) Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, to meet legal/contractual obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law.
13) Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors; if we learn we have, we will delete it and take appropriate steps.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Modified" date.
